Health Officials Begin Recall Of Mississippi Oysters

Virginia health officials say they’ve begun a recall of oysters harvested from a section of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Shellfish dealers and food distributors are being told about the oysters which have been linked to an outbreak of norovirus in Tennessee.

The health department says most of the oysters should be out of Virginia markets by early next week.

All other oysters, including those grown in the Old Dominion, are not part of the recall.
